Exploring User Perspectives on ChatGPT: Applications, Perceptions, and Implications for AI-Integrated Education

This paper performs qualitative content analysis of social media discussions to understand early adopter perceptions and experiences with ChatGPT across educational sectors, including K-12 and higher education. The study identifies common use cases, attitudes, and concerns including potential overdependence, superficial learning habits, and erosion of critical thinking skills.
