Co-Designing Interdisciplinary Design Projects with AI

This paper presents IDPplanner, a GPT-based tool that assists secondary school teachers in designing interdisciplinary design thinking projects aligned with Singapore's curriculum and 21st-century competencies. A workshop with 33 in-service teachers compared AI-assisted versus manual project planning using a six-dimensional rubric, finding that AI-assisted plans scored higher on curriculum alignment, design thinking application, and coherence.
